Jem
Jem originated in 1985 as a cartoon series
based on the MTV rock-band glamour era of the mid 1980's. The real stars though were the dolls released by Hasbro in 1985,
1986 and
1987 with fabulous fashions and the music from the Jem cartoons on
cassette included with almost every doll. The 20th Anniversary
of Jem is fast approaching and they rank amongst the most
highly collected toys in history.

This gorgeous, brown eyed, little girl has her
original tag still attached and written in Japanese. She is a classic
example of dolls made in the late 60's and 1970's, her head is designed to tilt to
one side, her feet are slightly turned together and all the fasteners on her
clothing are metal. Her outfit and anime style of face paint suggest
that she might be a Japanese
schoolgirl.
She has a gold metal heart and chain
around her neck with the word 'Love' on it and very cute pink and
white sandals with little love hearts on them. She is 32cm, 13 inches
tall.
