From 1968 the Ideal Toy Company released several versions of Crissy and her friends in sizes from 30cm (12 inches) to 45cm (18 inches).
They each had rather trendy names, Crissy, Kerry, Brandi, Tressy, Velvet, Mia, Dina, Cricket, Tara, Cinnamon and Baby Crissy.
Each doll had a knob in her stomach which you pushed to make her hair "grow" and a button on her back you turned to make it short again.
Ideal released colourful 70's style fashions to go with the girls.
