Tiffany Taylor by Ideal
In the 1970's there was one shapely young queen of the disco dance floor in the Supersize
world, move over Supersize Bimbo Barbie, this is Tiffany Taylor!

Dressed in a gold swimsuit with hot lime skirt that is open at the front
and has golden fringing, hot lime slip on sandals complete the
ensemble.
But the truly neat thing about this doll is her secret weapon, her
hair! She has a crown that can be turned depending on whether you want her
to be a blonde or a brunette or, in the rarer African American version,
auburn or black hair.
The African American Tiffany Taylor has an interesting history, she was
made just when Ideal decided to stop releasing Tiffany so they were left
with a warehouse full of unboxed, undressed dolls. They then dressed most of the
dolls in these space hero (Electroman) style jumpsuits and sold them in bulk to
wholesalers. Their hair still often is found with the original factory
rollers in and they were never boxed.
